    The invention relates to calcium carbide ladle core used in ladle feed wire deoxidizing. The inner core is inactivating calcium carbide and inactivating calcium oxide whose weight ratio is 1:0.2-10 and granularity is 100-325 order. The encrusting matter is sheet steel with 0.2-1.0mm thickness, 30-60mm width. Their weight ratio is 1:0.2-3.0. While processing, the inactivating calcium carbide and calcium oxide are fed at the same time to mix into core material; the extreme layer adopts steel band to compact the core material; or the core material is processed into compound structure; the middle layer is inactivating calcium carbide; its outer layer is covered by inactivating calcium oxide powder; the extreme layer adopts steel band to compact the core material. Thus it can deoxidize quickly and purify molten steel.
