Provided is a camera module capable of stably holding a holder and preventing center displacement of a lens. In the camera module, a first thread part 3 is formed on either the holder 2 or a holding member 4 and a second thread part 6 is formed on the other, such that the flat faces of the tops of the upper edges 3a of the first thread part 3 are slidably disposed in contact with the corresponding flat faces of the bottoms of the lower edges 6b of the second thread part 6. This prevents movement of the holder 2 in a lateral direction (i.e., in the direction of arrow A2), and hence center displacement of the holder 2 from an imaging element 8. In addition, engaging of the flat faces of the upper ridges and lower ridges of the threads minimizes movement of the holder 2 in a vertical direction (i.e., in the direction of arrow A1) relative to the holder member 4. Accordingly, the holder 2 is stably held. |
