An image display method and an image display are disclosed, the display comprises: a user interface part for inputting an auxiliary image display instruction; a signal input part for inputting at least one image signal; a display for displaying the image signal; an image signal process part for processing at least one image signal from the signal input part which is then displayed on the main screen and the auxiliary screen; a control part for setting the auxiliary screen range which is changed according to the resolution of the main screen and for controlling the image signal process part to display the auxiliary image on the prescribed range of the auxiliary screen when the auxiliary screen display instruction is input through the user interface part. In the image display with multi-image display function of the invention, the important image output from the main screen is prevented from covering, accordingly, the convenience is enhanced and the different requirements of the users are satisfied. |
