A new fast motion estimation algorithm based on parallel liner square search method, which is called LSPS for short,conducts linear search according to the spatial distribution of SAD to reduce redundancy and improve the speed of the algorithm for the large movement sequence. It designs the square templates of nine searching points and eight virtual searching points to ensure the accuracy of the search algorithm according to the distributed center migration of motion vector. At the time of determining the search direction, it conducts the accurate search to reduce redundancy and improve the speed of the algorithm for the small movement sequence. On the steps of algorithm, the complexity is decreased to realize the software and hardware easily. |
