The invention relates to a fine scalable video decoding scheme based on the missing forecast technology. MB-based FGS-LP, a scheme with better function, is proposed based on the MB-based PFGS method. It improves the video coding efficiency obviously under the condition of ensuring the error recovery capability for the entire system by leading the fading factors in the interframe encoding mode of the enhanced layer and the algorithms for choosing the macroblock encoding mode and valuing the fading factors are easy and their complexity is not enhanced compared with MB-based PFGS. |
