The invention relates to a video coding and decoding method based on db2 wavelet, which overcomes the deficiencies that the quality of video frame reconstituted by the existing method based on Haar wavelet to realize domain filtering during motion compensation is weak. The method includes the steps. 1, the imported video signals provide the encoded bit flow which contains time, space and quality requirements through the code of encoder. The domain filtering process is achieved based on db2 wavelet during motion compensation. 2, the encoded data flow output from the encoder is sent to the extractor, and edited according to the requirement of user-parameter interface to generate the extracted bit flow. The editor and extractor generate index files together to match the extracted bit flow. 3, the decoder completes the reconstruction of digital video signals after the bit flow and the index files are put into the decoder. |
