The invention discloses an image display device including a display panel and a parallax piece, and its stereo image generation structure. The display panel is set with sub-pixel arrays arranged in stripe, in which, the level pixel density is twice of the vertical, and color of two adjacent pixels is the same with that arranged horizontally while different with vertical. The parallax pieces form multiple optical separation units forming horizontal and vertical arrays according to the sub-pixel. The optical separation units in the two adjacent ranks are in crossed installation along the horizon so what the observer see with monocular vision is the sub-pixel arrays with triangle arrangement, which can be the driven structure of sub-pixel imaging technology, so that the image resolution and display quality can be substantially improved. |
