    A system and method for the delay-encryption of SMS relates to the technology of delay-sending and extracting SMS via passwords. The invention mainly installs a delay-encryption server in the existing SMS system, which communicates with the existing mobile switching center, the SMS service center and the home location register (HLR). The delay-encryption server is used to store, delay and send SMS. According to the user's presetting delay time or the successfully identity verification, the SMS is sent out immediately. The advantages are that the user can set his suitable time as the SMS sending time and his code for getting out his message at random safely and conveniently.
