The invention discloses an optimized method for filtering SMS of mobile phone including the following steps: checking the sender's address of SMS with the preset filtering address-table index to see whether they are the same or not; if they are the same, it discards the SMS or deposits it into the junk box according to the pre-setting; otherwise, it operates the SMS in a normal procedure and provides an option of ' filtering the sending addresses' during user's operation; if the user needs to filter the address, it suggests the user to choose the filtering time period and decides whether to deposit SMS to the junk box. The user can set discarding or storing the filtered SMS, at the same time, set the time limit of the address to filter. |
