This invention discloses a method and system for obtaining the congestion-causes in the high-speed downlink packet access. In the invention, the detected actual rate of business is compared with the ensuring bit rate to obtain the state of the service-congestion in the observing period. With an adequate data source, the described congestion-cause is obtained based on the parameter of the users' business rate reported by the station. The invention can accurately obtain the congestion-causes of the access network to reflect the network performance accurately, and is used to be the base of transmitting from HSDPA to DCH and resolve method of congestion. |
