A disk holding device that can be formed thinner than conventional devices and a disk changer device with the disk holding device. A disk holding device(50) has a tray on which a disk(D) is placed, a turntable(51) rotated by rotation drive means(52), a disk hole insertion section(56) for taking the disk(D) out from the tray and placing the disk on the turntable(51), and a projection section (58) for fixing the disk(D) on the turntable(51). The disk hole insertion section(56) is inserted so as to be vertically liftable and lowerable relative to that surface in the turntable(51) on which the disk(D) is placed. Inside the disk hole insertion section(56) is received a screw member(57) for converting a rotational force from the rotation drive means(52) into a vertical lifting/lowering force of the disk hole insertion section(56). |
