    A method for preparing an array of diamond microcutters is disclosed. An in-line electrolytic sharpening technique of abrasive disc is used for trimming. The trimming disc and the disc to be trimmed are rotating anticlockwise respectively at the rotation speeds of 300-500 rpm and 3000-5000 rpm. Its cutting depth in Z direction is 1-3 microns. Its advance speed in X direction is 4-10 mm/min.
