This invention relates to a corrosion-resistant and insulating polymer adhesive tape, which is prepared by coating polymer material slurry onto the surface of high-strength fiber tape, and curing in ambient conditions. The polymer material slurry is mainly composed of polyurethane polymerized from isocyanate and polyol. The characteristics of the slurry can be changed by adjusting the ratio of isocyanate to polyol, thus can ensure the high strength of the adhesive tape. Besides, polymerization aid is also added to improve the corrosion resistance and insulating property of polyurethane, and its electric strength can be up to 5.4 MV/m. The adhesive tape can be used to rapidly and effectively amend pipeslines of all materials, communication cables, or reinforce brackets, or bind elements. |
