    This invention discloses a method for preparing automobile alcohol-based fuel. The fuel comprises methanol 10-80%, ethanol 10-80% and additive 10-20%. The alcohol-based fuel does not need any adjustment of the engines, and has comparable power to commercialized gasoline. The alcohol-based fuel solves the problem of energy source replacement of gasoline.
