This invention discloses a method for preparing a detergent for cleaning airport runways. The detergent is composed of: orange oil 70-80 parts, sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate 10-15 parts, potassium pyrophosphate 12-20 parts, triethanolamine 1-3 parts and deionized water 100 parts. The detergent uses orange oil with 80% or more limonene as the major component, which is added with multiple surfactants. The detergent has a low surface tension, thus can effectively remove oil stains on airport runways without any corrosion. Since orange oil is a natural extract from orange peels, it has no harm to the environment or human health. Besides, the detergent is not combustive or explosive, thus is safe for usage. Since the volatilization rate of the detergent is low, it can be recovered after cleaning, and recycled after distillation, thus lowering the cost. The method for preparing the detergent is simple. |
