There is provided an image decoding device capable of removing block distortion even when the block decoding sequence is modified. The image decoding device (100) includes: a variable length decoding unit (111) for successively decoding the blocks; a frame memory (102); a deblocking filter processing unit (119) for subjecting each of the blocks which has been decoded to filter processing; first execution state switches (103, 104) for causing the frame memory (102) to store each block decoded and execute filter processing on the block stored; second execution state switches (103, 104) for causing to execute filter processing on the block decoded; and a control unit (101) for switching between the first execution state and the second execution state of the switches (103, 104). |
