The invention provides an image display system for allowing proper transmission while reducing a data amount to be transmitted from a personal computer to a liquid-crystal projector via a USB cable. A partial precision data generation means 222 divides corrected image data into a plurality of partial precision data after an image data processing means 221 performs correction processing on image data in the personal computer 2. A transmission data determination part 2231 determines whether the partial precision data are transmitted or not on each partial precision data. Only the partial precision data determined to be transmitted are transmitted to the liquid-crystal projector 3 via the USB cable 4. Accordingly, it is possible to allow the proper transmission while reducing the data amount to be transmitted via the USB cable 4. |
