The present invention manages usual words, searches words accordant with the initial character of the inputted letter, executes outputting, displaying and selectivity and simply makes short message by using database. The present invention comprises: forming fiducial database and private database in the word database part by control part; making short message in automatic accomplishing mode and in general mode according to the command inputted from the keying part; finishing the short message using the word outputted and selected by the display part and the letter inputted from the keying part in term of entry sequence through message part; transmitting the finished message to the called party. The present invention comprises the steps of: verifying whether it is an automatic accomplishing mode or not after the control part decides to use short message service; if it is an automatic accomplishing mode, connecting the inputted letter to the message part; if it is not an automatic accomplishing mode, selectively activating the fiducial database or private database, searching, extracting and displaying the word, the initial character of which is the inputted letter; connecting the selected word and the inputted letter to the massage part and finishing the short message in terms of sequence; transmitting the finished message to the called party.
