The present invention relates to weft holding and dragging part used in loom, and is especially one exit rapier head capable of holding weft yarn properly. The exit rapier head includes one main rapier body with hooked head in the front end and one thread clamp hinged to the main rapier body, with the front end of the thread clamp matching the hook in the rapier body in either opening or closing state. The present invention features that one elastic part is set in the tip of the exit rapier and with suspended end covering the wefting direction, so that some force is applied on to the weft yarn before passing through the weft yarn holder by the elastic part and the connector lug to keep the weft yarn without withdrawing to ensure high quality of the fabric and lower power consumption. |
