    The present invention relates to a step-shaped hydraulic power station. It includes a first generator units and several generator units which are successively positioned after said first generator unit. The described all the generator units are successively connected by means of water runway and distributed according to the stepped mode, and between adjacent generator units a correspondent water storage pond is set, the water inlet of generator unit positioned in the front of water storage pond and water outlet of generator unit positioned in the rear of water storage pond are respectively communicated with the described water storage pond by means of respective pipeline.
