To increase holding capacity to attain high definition image display in an electro-optic device such as a liquid crystal display device. The electro-optic device has a plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of data lines crossing each other, a plurality of pixel electrodes provided corresponding to crossing between the plurality of scanning lines and the plurality of data lines and accumulation capacity constituted by stacking a pair of electrodes and a dielectric film on a substrate. Furthermore, the electro-optic device has a sidewall comprised of a first insulation film provided on an inner wall of an aperture opened by penetrating one of the pair of electrode and the dielectric film and a first conductive film arranged on the opposite side to the one when viewed from the other of the pair of electrodes, formed simultaneously as the sidewall to be self-aligned and a first conductive film electrically connected to the other via a self-alignment contact hole surrounded by the sidewall. |
