The invention relates to a method for separating AlCl3 from a compound mixture (V1) containing organochlorosilanes and having an AlCl3 content of >200 ppm in relation to the organochlorosilane content. According to said method, the compound mixture (V1) containing compounds (V2) that are selected from organochlorosilanes or mixtures of chloromethanes and organochlorosilanes is thinned in such a way that a product flow (P) containing < 15 % of solids and < 25 % of constituents having a boiling point > 71 DEG C at 1013 hPa is obtained, and said product flow (P) is separated into volatile compounds (FV) and solids (F) containing AlCl3, in an evaporation unit at a temperature < 165 DEG C. All concentration indications relate to weight. |
