Disclosed is a resin composition having good flexibility and pliability as well as excellent flame retardance. Also disclosed is a formed body made from such a resin composition. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A flame-retardant ethylene resin composition is characterized by containing 51-95 parts by weight of an ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer (A) and 5-49 parts by weight of a copolymer (B) of an ethylene and a vinyl ester, and further containing 0.1-50 parts by weight of a graft modified ethylene polymer (C), 50-250 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide (D), 0.1-50 parts by weight of a triazine compound (E) and 0.1-40 parts by weight of a powder silicone (F) per 100 parts by weight of the total of (A) and (B). The flame-retardant ethylene resin composition is further characterized in that the weight ratio between (E) and (F), namely (E)/(F), is 1.2 or more. |
