There is provided an AV content processing device capable of reducing the unpleasant feeling given to a user when an erroneous detection is caused when detecting a CM section. CM detection means (101) detects a CM section according to the power level of the sound signal in the AV content accumulated and acquires information indicating a boundary between a CM section and a program section. The user inputs the content view purpose via purpose reception means (102). According to the view purpose inputted by the user, boundary correction means (103) moves the position of the boundary (start and end) between the CM section and the program sectiondetected by the CM detection means (101) so as to make it longer or shorter. |
