The invention discloses a method and the system to protect the photoelectric integrated device. The method includes: it sets the spare light source link of fixed wavelength and the corresponding prepare data channels in the photoelectric integrated device; the sending-end photoelectric integrated device detects the main light source link if it has the trouble; if it has the trouble, it will select a spare light source link of fixed wavelength and the corresponding prepare data channels to transfer the data. The system includes the sending-end photoelectric integrated device and the receiving-end photoelectric integrated device. The invention can protect the photoelectric integrated device to improve the reliability of the photoelectric integrated device but not increase the cost. |
