    A driving method for the LCD is provided in the invention. It provides the driving voltage in the first time step of the period which the driving voltage corresponding to the gray scale image is to drive the liquid crystal image element to display the gray scale image. It provides the replacement voltage in the second time step of the period which the voltage is designed by the gray scale image of the period time.
