The invention discloses a method for controlling a terminal to enter idle mode, used between terminal and service base station, comprising: a transmitting party requesting terminal to enter idle mode sends a message requesting terminal to enter idle mode to receiving party; after receiving the request message, the receiving party returns a message to the transmitting party to require it to resend the request message after the limited time in the returned message, when determining the terminal can not enter idle mode at once; the transmitting party receives the returned message and resends the request message after the limited time. And the invention also discloses two systems for controlling terminal to enter idle mode. The invention improves the quality of service (QoS) with stronger real-time property. |
