    A method for handling timers during reestablishing transmitting sides in wireless communications systems, includes only one transmitting side reestablished in a wireless link control unit of the communication device; deleting the control protocol data unit corresponding to the transmitting sides; and preserving the control protocol data unit corresponding to the transmitting sides rather than deleting.
