The invention is a ring tone downloading method, comprising the steps of: a user transmits user terminal number and called terminal number with color ring to color ring gateway; the gateway obtains the default ring tone information from color ring center according to the called terminal number; the gateway transits the color ring information and user terminal ID to WAP gateway; the WAP gateway transmits the ring tone information to the corresponding user terminal. And it can directly download ring tone from the color ring center so that the user can very conveniently download the liked ring tones and it expands the color ring service. |
