The objective is to provide a die for a core manufacture which can continuously manufacture a core being arranged on the inside of a pneumatic tire at a high precision and a high efficiency, and of which the equipment is simple and inexpensive, and to provide a core manufacturing method. The core has a ring-like supporting member 16 and a ring-like rubber section which is respectively bonded to both edge sections in the width direction of the supporting member 16. The supporting member 16 is constituted of a plate-like member, is arranged on the inside of the pneumatic tire, and supports the pneumatic tire by abutting the internal side of the tread section of the pneumatic tire with the outer peripheral surface when the pneumatic tire is crushed by the reduction of the internal pressure. A press 12 is provided in a manner to pinch the ring-like core die 26 and the core die 26, which abut with the supporting member 16 from the inside in the diametrical direction, from the width direction under a non-contact state with both edge sections of the supporting member 16. A rubber material G which is respectively housed in pod sections 46A1, A2, 46B1 and B2 is simultaneously transferred from runners 44A1, A2, 44B1 and B2 which are formed on an upper intermediate die 28 into cavities 42A and 42B, respectively. |
