Provided are a transparent polypropylene based sheet which exhibits good tensile properties, impact resistance and rigidity, while retaining transparency, and also exhibits good characteristics as a transparent sheet such as the reduced whitening in the bending thereof, and further can be free from the generation of a gum-like material during forming, and thus can be produced continuously; a method for producing the transparent polypropylene based sheet; and an apparatus (1) for producing the transparent polypropylene based sheet, which comprises an extruding means (11) for melting and kneading a material followed by extruding the kneaded material into a sheet form, a first cooling means (12) for cooling a molten resin composition (20a) in a sheet form into a sheet (20) (a sheet-like article), a preheating means (13) for reheating the sheet (20), a heat treatment means (14) for heat-treating a resin composition (20a) in a sheet form, and a second cooling means (15) for cooling the seat (20) after heat treatment. The raw material for the sheet (21) produced by the above apparatus comprises a polypropylene resin (a) and a metallocene type ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer (b). |
