The present invention provides a cover structure of a machine tool, minimizing an opening part to improve the machining efficiency, and achieved in simple constitution. One side of a cover 3 is provided with an inverted recessed opening part 5 formed by connecting two tool passing parts 5a, 5a formed like a wide rectangle in the vertical direction by a revolving permit part 5b. The respective tool passing parts are opening parts for passing the tool held on a replacement arm, and shaped like a rectangle according to the full length and the maximum width of the tool. On the other hand, the revolving permit part is an opening part for passing the revolving base end part of the replacement arm, and the vertical width is formed a little larger than the vertical width of the replacement arm (smaller than the tool passing part). The respective tool passing parts are opened and closed by a door 6 and the revolving permit part is closed by a closing cover 9 including a revolving cover and a slide cover. |
