The invention relates to a method for allocating radio resources to radio stations (AP, N1, N2, MS1, MS2) of a radio communications system. In the radio communications system, message transmissions ensue between radio stations (AP, MS2) by routing these messages over other radio stations (N1, N2). Different classes of radio stations (AP, N1, N2, MS1, MS2) exist with regard to their function during the transmission of messages. A radio facility (BS) receives, from radio stations (AP, N1, N2, MS1, MS2), request messages (RR-MS, RR-N-N, RR-N-MS, RR-AP-MS, RR-AP-N) for requesting an allocation of radio resources for sending or routing messages directly or via one or more other radio stations (N2, AP). According to the invention, the radio facility (BS) allocates radio resources to radio stations (AP, N1, N2, MS1, MS2) that have requested the allocation of radio resources. This ensues while taking the classes of these radio stations (AP, N1, N2, MS1, MS2) into consideration. Lastly, the radio facility (ES) communicates the allocations by means of at least one message. The invention also relates to a radio facility (BS) for carrying out said method. |
