    The present invention provides a refrigerator which need no maintenance and the inner of which can be kept at hypoxia state by simple structure, so that the freshness of the contained food can be kept for a long time. The refrigerator is characterized in that in the inclosed space of the freeze or refrigeration storing space, a deodorization device(13)comprising at least an ozone generating device(15)and an ozone decomposing unit(16) is provided, and the carbon-series substance(23), such as active carbon, is provided in the deodorization device.
