制备方法：将苯乙腈、氯丁烷、四丁基溴化铵加入氢氧化钠溶液，搅拌反应，反应放热使温度升至88℃并开始回流，然后降温至65℃，继续反应4-5h。反应毕，加水静置分层，分出有机相，减压蒸馏，收集70℃（0.267kPa）馏分，得α-正丁基苯乙腈。

用途：该品与二氯甲烷、咪唑缩合可制取咪菌腈。咪菌腈是新型广谱内吸杀菌剂。
